Hey guys so it’s time for an update.
But it’s time for the truth which means this past week I’ve honestly have not stuck to what I usually do. One: this week my brother bought food the entire week so it was like Peruvian food one day, burgers the next day, chile rellenos the next day and so on. Two: I think because of the food and the amount of working out actually made my anemia worse. And I know I said I won’t use anemia as an excuse but it has a big effect on my life. It makes me extra tired and it make it harder for me to comprehend things because it feels like a constant fogginess in my brain. Three: I had a lot of things in my personal life popping up that I had to handle (school and family).
But either way here’s the update:
I feel like since I’ve committed to becoming healthier I have gained some more upper body strength.
I’ve gained upper body strength by obviously strength training with weights. And basic exercises like burpees and pushups. And I know I’ve gotten stronger because now I have the ability to carry a 35 pack of water for about 45-50 feet and pick it up over my head because there was a truck in the driveway so there’s a really small space that I have to pass through. And I think this is progress because last month I wasn’t able to do this, I actually struggled to do this like a few months ago.
And although I’m a little discouraged about how I didn’t actually follow through with what I’m supposed to be doing but that’s okay.
I think I’m actually going to continue with a few updates until the New Year! It’s my goal to ring in 2017 feeling happy and gorgeous (more gorgeous than I feel now). So I’m going to extend my own challenge and continue to aim to be fit and happy. So if you change your mind and want to join me let me know! We can totally do this together!
