Thanksgiving Hangover?

Hey friends, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you had the chance to at least spend it with family or friends. And if you’re like me you probably ate everything that was made for this special day, NOTHING WAS OFF LIMITS (Am I right?). So there’s nothing wrong with enjoying yourself and possibly overeating for one day but now that that is over it’s time to jump back into our daily routine, and this can be a bit tough. Especially with all the leftovers haunting your fridge.

First thing’s first: Amp up your water!

Yes!!!! Let me tell you I drank wine like it was water and it was fun and all but it’s time to cut back and drink water. Attempt to drink water before you go to bed, and when you wake up. (Like for me I have a specific water bottle I have next to my bed that I fill up prior to going to bed, I take a few sips and go to sleep and when I wake up it’s there ready for me to drink. I attempt to drink all the water before I step out the door. Which is approx. 32 oz in two hours.) Then attempt to drink water throughout the da, to help you keep you feeling full longer.

Two: Let’s clean up your meals!

Yup, it’s time to make sure your meals aren’t full of too much sugar, and stay away from processed foods. (I know having to cook a meal after work or a busy day sucks, I KNOW AND I FEEL YOU but you have to treat your body to the best because YOU ARE THE BEST!!!) Just try to create some balanced meals, with fruit, protein, and whole grains to ensure that you’re getting everything that you need.

Three: LEANER CRREAMER!

YEEEEEEESSSS. Enjoy your coffee or smoothies with Leaner Creamer. Or add Leaner Creamer to your favorite treats for extra aid in your fitness journey!

Oh and remember, don’t be too hard on yourselves. Be positive, allow yourself to enjoy the holidays with the food on the table that brings everyone together. So enjoy yourself and don’t worry about it, we’ll continue to move forward the next day with positivity and happiness. Okay, so remember no worries, we’ll do this one step at a time.
