New Year's Resolution
Hey friends! IT’S A NEW YEAR WHICH YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS RIGHT?
NEW YEAR NEW ME. (Well sorta.) New you because you’ll be picking up new habits to make this year the best possible year of your life but not so new you because you’re pretty much awesome.
Since it’s January it’s pretty much the month where we make up a list of different resolutions we can achieve and hopefully we don’t throw out this list within a few weeks. And in case you haven’t made any here’s a few that you can borrow!
Become fit.
Whether this means gain weight or lose weight you define what being fit means to you!
Stop procrastinating.
Understand that there are deadlines that need to be met. Maybe it’s time for a calendar?
Meet new people.
I know it’s easy to live on social media but how about creating new and lasting relationships with others romantically or platonically.
Increase confidence + Learn your value.
Loving yourself is a process and it’s okay to take it one step at a time. And once you do, you begin to
Become financially stable.
Whether this means saving money, or taking up a second job, you do you.
Be nicer.
This could be to yourself or others, doesn’t matter because we need to be nicer to each other.
Learn to be happy.
You can begin to learn how to be happy by attempting to look at things half full.
Get more sleep.
Attempt to get into bed an hour earlier than usual to get a full night’s rest. And avoid your cell phone while in bed!
Pick up a new book every other week? Or immerse yourself into different cultures and worlds once a month!
Give up cigarettes.
Increase your life span by getting rid of this habit!
Learn a new language.
Download an app that will help you learn a different language for free! And you can always add this to your resume!
Volunteer.
Help others.
Pick up a hobby.
Learn how to reduce stress by picking up a hobby!
Let go of grudges.
No need to hold grudges because you obviously don’t need them bringing you down in 2k17.
Travel.
Explore the world first hand!
Become more organized.
Knowing where things are at any given moment is a skill everyone should learn for a more efficient you!
Learn how to cook.
Attempt to cook something different at least once a month to improve your culinary skills!
Go to your doctor.
Make that appointment, go to the doctor for a check up or for any health concerns. YOU MATTER.
Become more independent.
Why wait for someone to go do something when you can do it by yourself. Be bold!
Spend less time on social media.
Spending time on social media just increases FOMO (fear of missing out), so opt out and decrease your time on social media.
Stay in touch.
Pick up the phone, and make some plans with your “long time no see” friends!
Become a part of the Leaner Creamer Family!
If you’re reading this, you can cross this off your list, because YOU ALREADY ARE ONE!
