Fight Bloating with these simple tips!

At a certain point in our lives we face the problem of bloating, it’s so common that 1 in 10 Americans face bloating (WebMD). Now bloating occurs when we eat something that doesn’t necessarily sit well but that’s okay because there are a few tips you can use to combat bloating!
Tip #1
Drink water with lemon. Drinking water with lemon act like a natural laxative which can help you reduce the amount of salt that your body is holding onto. Just be careful not to use a straw because then you’ll take extra air in which won’t help your bloating problem.
Tip #2
Eat watermelon! Watermelon is pretty much water which has diuretic properties which definitely helps with the bloating. Since watermelon is a great source of potassium it can help you get rid of the sodium that your body is holding onto. So go ahead and enjoy watermelon!
Tip #3
Eat pineapple! That’s right, when bloated make sure to eat some fresh pineapple. Pineapple is made up of 85% water and it contains a digestive enzyme called bromelain. Bromelain is an enzyme that breaks down protein which ultimately helps decrease the bloating you may feel.
Tip #4
Mix turmeric with honey and milk to help fight indigestion, bloating and gas. Added bonus turmeric is one of the most natural anti-inflammatories.
Tip #5
Steep parsley in water to combat bloating. Parsley is another diuretic which can help get rid of the excessive water your body is holding onto. Parsley can help reduce pain too.
Tip #6
Drink ginger tea! Yup, drinking a cup of ginger tea can ease alleviate gas, bloating and stomach pains.
Tip #7
Yogurt! Yogurt has probiotics that can reduce bacteria that normally would cause gas. Added bonus, yogurt also improves your digestive system.
