Anti-Aging Foods You Need to Eat RN

Hey friends! So I know many of us eat a pretty clean diet right? Or at least the theory of eating clean is with us most of the time. So below is a list of foods that will help you achieve a better diet but all the foods listed below actually have some anti-aging properties that can help you avoid wrinkles and lessen the appearance aging. Pair these foods with a great beauty regime and you pretty much have a great combo to have beautiful young looking skin forever!

  1. Organic Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

Olive oil is made up of monounsaturated fat (it’s a good thing) which can help fight against heart disease and help lower your bad cholesterol level. And since Extra-Virgin Olive Oil contains a lot of vitamins, and antioxidants, its prefect to retain the moisture in your hair while protecting your hair against the everyday pollution we come into contact. Oh and it can actually help repair cells to create that smoother and firmer skin we all want!

  1. Avocado

So avocados have lots of antioxidants: alpha-carotene, beta carotene, beta-cryptoxanthin, and lutein- that actual help protect your skin from the pollution we face every day. And you’re probably like so what? Well sadly, the environmental factors that we face actually lead to the wrinkles and the signs of aging that we all dislike so by eating avocado we are fighting back!

  1. Blueberries

Blueberries are so cool because they’re sweet and you can eat them as dessert but they won’t spike your blood sugar! (HOW FREAKING COOL!!) The tiny little spheres pack such a punch since they’re filled with lots of antioxidants that help you get rid of all the toxins that actually cause damage to your skin.

  1. Garlic

Good thing garlic isn’t just used to keep the bad spirits away, it can actually keep wrinkles away! So garlic is super high in sulfur which can benefit your liver and your skin. Oh and get this, garlic is great for promoting healthy blood pressure, and cholesterol and helping you achieve a happy heart.
