Leaner Creamer Strawberry Oat Bars



  • Two tablespoons of corn starch
  • Two tablespoons of warm water
  • Two cups of finely diced strawberries
  • One fourth of a cup of honey
  • One tablespoon or organic brown sugar
  • Two tablespoons of Leaner Creamer mixture

Oatmeal Base:

  • Two and one fourth of a cup of quick oats
  • One cup of your choice of nut based butter
  • One fourth of a cup of honey
  • One fourth of a cup of apple butter
  • One large beaten egg
  • Half of a cup of sliced almonds

Make strawberry filling, by mixing Leaner Creamer and cornstarch with warm water until the cornstarch has dissolved and it reaches room temperature.
Combine strawberries, honey, and sugar in a small pan over medium heat. Bring to boil, stir well. Remove from heat, stir in Leaner Creamer mixture, whisk until clumps are gone, set aside to thicken and cool.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F, Line baking pan with aluminum foil.
In order to make oat crust toping, mix quick oats, cinnamon, almond butter, agave, apple butter, and beaten egg. Mix until all oats are moist, mixture should also be combined.
Keep half of a cup of oat mixture.
Press remaining oat mixture into bottom of pan, add sliced almonds.
Crumble over strawberry filling, press topping down firmly into strawberry filling.
Bake for 2530 minutes, make sure topping is lightly browned.
Cool, and cut into bars.
