Bread Pudding....For the healthy individual

Who ever said that being healthy doesn’t mean you can’t indulge? We all have cravings, Cakes, Brownies, Chocolate..the sweet options are endless. Guess what? Surprise, Surprise. You can still indulge while being healthy! I know, what a concept right? With a few changes, you can indulge while still losing weights and still promote a healthy lifestyle! Our original Leaner Creamer infused bread pudding is made healthier with the substitution of our Leaner Creamer product.

For the actual bread pudding recipe, break apart one loaf of french bread, melt two tablespoons of organic butter over said bread. Then, combine one cup of granulated sugar with two large eggs, and one teaspoon of vanilla extract. After this step, add 2 cups of any brand of greek yogurt, one cup of any dairy free milk such as Almond or Soy milk, and 2 tablespoons of our Leaner Creamer product into a bowl and mix well.   For an even healthier option, you can substitute the 2% milk in this recipe for a dairy free milk substitute, such as Almond or Soy Milk. Pour this mixture over the bread pudding, and bake for forty mixtures. For the vanilla sauce, that adds the extra rich flavor to this healthy indulgent, you will have to combine 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of firmly packed brown sugar, 1/4 cup of greek yogurt, and 2 tablespoons of Leaner Creamer mixture into a small saucepan. If you wish to dilute this mixture, please add hot water to the 2 tablespoons before adding to the  saucepan. Cook this mixture at medium heat for roughly five minutes, stirring occasionally. If this mixture thickens and comes to a boil before the five minutes is up, you may then also turn off the burner as it is almost ready to serve. The last step that is essential for creating the delicious flavoring of the sauce, is one tablespoon of pure vanilla extract. This creates a small kick of extra depth to the flavor of the dessert. When all of the steps to the sauce are done, pour over bread pudding or serve next to the dessert.
