Do you know what day is coming up? National Cappuccino Day on November 8th!! For those of you who don’t know what a cappuccino is, it is one part espresso mixed with one part steamed milk and topped off with foam. Try out this easy at-home recipe and start perfecting your cappuccino making skills so that you are prepared for Friday! Also, don’t be afraid to experiment, we added pumpkin spice to our recipe but you can add nutmeg, cinnamon, peppermint, and etcetera. Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients
Espresso
● ¼ cup ground coffee (french or dark roast)
● ½ - ¼ cups cold water
● 2-3 teaspoons Leaner Creamer Pumpkin Spice Creamer
Cappuccino
● 1 cup milk; your choice
● ⅔ cup brewed espresso or 2 espresso machine pulled shots
Instructions
Brewed Espresso (so shots don’t expire start this step when milk is in the microwave)
1 Place ground coffee in the filter of a drip coffee maker and add water; brew according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
2 Add 2-3 teaspoons of LC Pumpkin Spice Creamer to the espresso and mix.
Cappuccino
1 Place milk in a microwave-safe measuring cup and microwave, uncovered, on high for 1 minute or until milk is hot and small bubbles form around edge of the cup.
2 Take a metal whisk and whisk the milk vigorously by holding whisk handle loosely between palms and quickly rubbing hands back and forth. Remove foam to a small measuring cup as it forms, until foam measures 1/3 cup; set aside.
3 Pour brewed espresso into a mug, then the remaining hot milk, and spoon foam over top and serve immediately.
