Pumpkin Oatmeal Recipe!
Okay so it’s still August and September is barely coming up and it seems like we’re light years away from Halloween or pumpkin season but I found this delicious recipe that I’m so excited to share!
What you need:
2/3 cup Oats
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
2 tbsp Leaner Creamer
2 tbsp Chia Seeds
1 tbsp Raw Cocao Powder
½ cup Water
1 ½ cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
½ cup Pumpkin Puree
¼ cup Chopped Walnuts
2 tbsp Cocoa Nibs
*NOT IF YOU CAN ACCESS ORGANIC INGREDIENTS GO FOR IT, BUT FOR THOSE ON A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT BUDGET LIKE ME IT’S OKAY, JUST USE WHAT YOU CAN GET
What you need to do:
1: On the stove over medium heat, pour the milk, water, leaner creamer and oats in a pan.
2: As you notice that the oatmeal is starting to thicken, add your puree and stir!
3: Once you’ve added the puree, continue to stir a bit for about another two or three minutes.
4: Take it off the stove.
5: Stir in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, and chia seeds.
6: Add or top the walnuts and cocoa nibs. (If you don’t want to add the topping that’s okay, or if you think there are better ingredients that go with the recipe go ahead and add them!)
7: ENJOY!
