So GUESS WHAT WE’RE GOING TO DO!?
WE’RE GOING TO HAVE POPSICLES FOR BREAKFAST!
THAT’S RIGHT YOU READ THAT RIGHT!
POPSICLES FOR BREAKFAST!!
Strawberry Pops: Serves 8-10
What you’ll need:
1.5 Handfuls of Spinach
1 Banana
2 Handfuls of Strawberries
1 Handful of Blackberries
1 TBS of Chia Seeds
2 TSP of Leaner Creamer
¼ - ¾ Cups of Almond Milk (depending on what you prefer)
Directions:
Blend until smooth. And pour into Popsicle molds.
Place popsicles into the fridge and freeze for about a 2 hours then place popsicle sticks into the molds and continue to free for about 4 more hours.
Now, if you’re still into popsicles but you’re looking for something that has whole fruit then I have an easy recipe for you!
Fruit Pops: Serves 10
What you’ll need:
¾ cups of Almond Milk
2-3 Tsp Leaner Creamer
¾ cups Plain Greek Yogurt (Now you can totally substitute Plain with a flavored Greek Yogurt or even substitute it with Non-fat Greek Yogurt –Options are endless and up to you!)
2 TBS of Honey (Remember if you’re looking for a sweeter popsicle you may want to add a bit more honey and if you’re looking for a not so sweet popsicle you can just add one tablespoon of honey!)
1/3 Cup Fruit (Blue Berries / Strawberries / Peaches (Diced) / Raspberries) You can totally add different kinds of fruit into one popsicle but make sure it’ll go with your yogurt!
Blend the almond milk, yogurt, and honey in a blender (milk mixture).
What I found best is if you pour a bit of the milk mixture into the popsicle mold.
Then evenly distribute your choice of fruit on top.
Pour the milk mixture on top and continue to do this until all popsicle molds are full.
Place popsicles into the fridge and freeze for about a 2 hours then place popsicle sticks into the molds and continue to free for about 4 more hours.
ENJOY!
And there you go Breakfast Pops without any guilt!
