Everyone knows that food=fuel, but did you know that eating the right things before and after a workout can not only help maximize your performance, but also promote healthy muscle function and healing? Well, you do now!
Before you work out, you want to make sure you have a combination of carbs and protein to give you enough energy to perform your workouts to the fullest, and help you repair muscles afterwards. Don't eat until you have a full stomach, or you risk feeling bloated while exercising, and no one wants that! Eat 30 minutes before your workout for best results.

I am doing Pilates to look lean and define my muscle twice a week for two months. I just can’t muscles repair. Any advice. I do take protein everyday twice, eat salmon, chicken veggies fruits eggs.
