So let’s be real, we all eat pretty well right? We have abided to the 80-20 rule of clean eating right? And if we haven’t that’s okay, there’s no reason to fret the holidays are coming up and it can be difficult to stay on track. But I got you, the list below are foods you should eat to make you feel less bloated and to help you achieve that perfect belly you want.
Spinach:
Spinach is a POWER FOOD! It gives you loads of energy and it’s super-super low in calories and it helps you feel full for longer periods at a time. Spinach is filled with vitamin C, vitamin K, Iron, Potassium and Magnesium! You can add spinach to your salads, or sandwiches for an easy power boost.
Eggs:
So we all heard suggestions about eating eggs when we’re dieting because it’s probably one of the most helpful foods you can eat. (When I eat egg I actually prefer egg whites only but then again I barely eat eggs- not my favorite food). So eggs are full of protein and healthy fat that help you feel full and not bloated at all! (btw I think serving size is one egg)
Salmon:
If you’re trying to add some fish into your diet you should definitely add salmon! Salmon actually helps speed up your metabolism, and it helps combat bloating. Aim for two servings of salmon every week and reap all its benefits.
Berries:
Eat half a cup each day of any type of berry and you’ll be helping out your digestion track and fight bloating. So berries are filled with fiber which will result in you eating other foods less frequently because you’ll be feeling full.
Apples:
Did you remember the saying “An apple a day keeps the doctors away?” ‘Cause it’s totally true. Apples are filled with fiber that helps regulate your digestion track and it actually helps aid weight loss. (Pretty freaking cool right?!) Apples can actually prevent heart disease and it helps lower bad cholesterol.
