Have you been forgetful lately? Have you increased your hours of sleep? Has it worked? If not, have you been eating the proper foods? With the proper foods you’re able to provide your body with the nutrients necessary to grow and to keep your memory sharp.
So it’s easy increase your memory by adding these four groups of foods to your diet.
Veggies: Veggies like broccoli, and cabbage can help increase your memory. Broccoli is filled with choline, folic acid and vitamin K that ultimately improves memory. Turns out that people over the age of 65 with higher vitamin K levels have a better memory than those with lower vitamin K levels.
Berries: Blueberries are filled with oxidants that reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Blueberries are actually proven to increase your learning ability. So go ahead and enjoy a cup of blueberries a day for memory loss prevention.
Salmon: Salmon is considered a healthy oily fish. Since salmon is made up of lots of omega-3s (fatty acids) which our brain can’t make any on its own. So by eating lots of salmon you’re actually nurturing your brain and overall mental health.
Nuts: Nuts are high in vitamin E and vitamin E is crucial to increase your cognitive ability. Enjoy at least an ounce of nuts a day to prevent any memory loss.
