Recipe #1: Everybody knows that you can’t have an amazing cookout without a sweet surprise at the end to entertain your guests, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Our Leaner Creamer Coffee Cake will satisfy your sweet tooth, don’t believe us? You’ll have to try it for yourself. Let the sweet crumbly mixture of this coffee cake melt in your mouth as you take each bite, the flavor causing your mouth to tip into a satisfied grin. Don’t be afraid to eat all you want of this cake, it’s made healthier with the addition of our Leaner Creamer mixture, which means that you can treat yourself without worrying about your weight or health. We know you’re anxious to taste it already, and guess what? You can. Here’s the recipe.
-Three fourths of a cup of packed organic dark brown sugar
-One third of a cup of chopped walnuts
-One teaspoon of ground cinnamon
-Three and 1/4 cups of organic all purpose flour (gluten free flour may be substituted)
-Two teaspoons of baking soda
-One teaspoon of baking powder
-One fourth of a teaspoon of salt
-Ten tablespoons of organic softened butter
-Two tablespoons of Leaner Creamer
-Three organic eggs
-One teaspoon of vanilla extract
-One and a half cups of lactose free milk
-Optional Red White and Blue Frosting
-Combine brown sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon in small bowl.
-Spoon flour into measuring cups, level with knife. Combine flour, baking soda, leaner creamer, baking powder, and salt into medium bowl, stir well.
-Combine sugar and butter in bowl, beat with mixer at medium speed until combined (3 minutes), Add eggs and beat until combined. Beat in vanilla.
-Add flour mixture and milk alternatively to sugar mixture, beginning and ending with flour, beat well after addition, scrape sides of bowl. Spoon half of batter into pan, coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle half of brown sugar mixture over batter, spoon remaining half of batter into pan, top with remaining sugar.
-Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes, or until fork can go in cleanly. Cool for 10 minutes and then remove from pan. Then cool on a wire rack until completely cool.
-OPTIONAL! Frost with red white and blue frosting, adding to the patriotic theme!

-One small chopped shallot
-Two chapped garlic cloves
-One cup of strong room temperature coffee
-Two teaspoons of Leaner Creamer mixture (dilute with hot water)
-One fourth of a cup of balsamic vinegar
-One fourth of a cup of Dijon mustard
-One fourth of a cup of packed light brown sugar
-Two tablespoons of olive oil
-One teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
-One and a half pounds of skirt steak, cut into four pieces
-Whisk together all ingredients, pour half of marinade into resealable plastic bag, add steak, seal bag, turn to coat. Let sit,add remaining marinade, set aside. Add to favorite meats, best if stored for 24 hours.

-One tablespoon of ground cinnamon
-2 Tablespoons of Leaner Creamer
-Ground coffee to make twelve six ounce servings
-Enough water for twelve six ounce servings
-Long cinnamon sticks
-Optional whipped cream
-In the basket of automatic drip coffeemaker, add one teaspoon of ground cinnamon to ground coffee, brew coffee with water.
-To serve, pour cinnamon coffee into mugs, place cinnamon stick in both. Top with optional dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
