Fudge-tastic

By Jackeline Soto

Hey! So you’re almost done with the week and I congratulate you for that.

Since you’ve been doing so well this week here’s a quick and fun recipe that you have to try for National Fudge Day!

It’s healthy and easy to make. And it has chocolate and Leaner Creamer so what more do you want?! Absolutely nothing.

The recipe is very simple! Only five ingredients:

 cup refined coconut oil, melted

 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

 cup honey

2 tbsp. almond butter

4 tsp Leaner Creamer

Directions:

Stir everything in a bowl. Then pour everything into a blender to make sure it is completely smooth. Blending the mix will definitely make the mix thicker which is what you desire. Pour mixture into the small pan (I used a 6x7in pan but you be the judge, you can use a bigger or smaller pan if you’d like). Make sure your pan is lined with plastic wrap, it’ll make it easier to take it out and to clean up. Place in the fridge or freezer to make solid fudge bars for at least 25 minutes.

Cut into squares and enjoy immediately!

Note

*I found it easier to double the recipe rather than just one portion because it doesn’t make that much fudge.

*I made the mistake of freezing the bars overnight which made it very difficult to cut into pieces. So make sure to thaw the fudge at least an hour prior to wanting to enjoy it.
