Labor Day Celebrations
Happy Labor Day!! With this festive weekend just around the corner, all of you must be wondering what type of get-together you should throw? Well...it’s your lucky day because we have the perfect outdoor ideas to choose from!! As you know, summer is coming to an end so enjoy that fresh air while you can.
Now that the location is settled, let’s get on with the festivities!!
Celebration Ideas:
1 Park Potluck Take your festivities out of your backyard and to your local park with a picnic theme celebration. Make it a potluck and have your guests bring their best dish for you all to enjoy. With the food covered you can’t forget some fun games for your guests to enjoy, so whip out charades, relay races, Cards Against Humanity, and so much more.
2 Host A Movie Night There’s nothing like hosting your friends and family for a Labor Day under the stars. Get rid of those chairs and throw a mishmash of pillows on the grass, making it both colorful and comfy, while ensuring no one gets wet. Other than a screen, you’ll need popcorn and an assortment of snacks to go alongside the movie. Shall we suggest 500 Days of Summer to go along with the summer vibes?
3 Host A Backyard BBQ A simple backyard barbecue is always a hit and can be easily arranged. Fire up the grill with steaks, kabobs, and more; be sure to keep beers in the cooler for your guests. We also can’t forget the baking queens and kings, so have a dessert table ready for all the sweet tooths at the party. If you own a pool, enhance the barbecue into a poolside BBQ where everyone can enjoy a splash in the pool while eating amazing home-cooked dishes.
4 Host A Game Night This can be done both indoors and outdoors and requires no dressing up. Just enjoy your time with family and friends while playing foosball or board games, that will bring out the competitive side. Don’t forget to include some punishments for our non-winners to make the night more exciting.
5 Plan A Beach Bonfire Take it back to your childhood days with a night cozied up in blankets, eating fire-roasted s'mores, and telling scary stories. Just be sure not to forget some drinks and extra snacks. A perfect low-budget get-together that guaranteed to be a hit amongst your guests. Pack your favorite coffee in a thermos and take your favorite creamer!
