Some days you go to the gym in the same thing you wore to sleep the night before, but some days you want to look good. 1. Color coordinate your outfit.
Color is the spice of life, and now, it can be the spice of your workout! An all pink sports bra + legging outfit? Fabulous. An all black number, complete with neon shoes and a neon cap? Lookin' good! Don't be afraid of color... embrace it!
2. Tame the mane.
You don't need to style your hair just to get it all sweaty again, but taming your hair can give you a polished look while you pump some iron. A sleeked back ponytail with a spritz of hairstyle can keep your flyaways away. Or, a cute headband will look adorable, and also keep your hair and sweat out of your eyes.
3. Accessorize.
Accessories can really take your gym outfit to the next level. While some jewelry might get in the way, small and elegant earrings and simple necklaces can really add some sparkle. Try adding a fun baseball cap, or some colorful hair elastics, or some neon socks to add a pop of color. Even investing in a cute pair of headphones can make you really stand out!
4. Throw on some makeup.
Some people think that it's taboo to wear makeup at the gym, but really, that mindset is fading quickly. If you feel confident with some makeup on at the gym, that will translate to your workout, and you'll be working out longer and harder than before because you'll feel great! While we don't recommend wearing a full face of makeup simply because sweat + makeup doesn't tend to mix, you can still throw on your favorite products to make your features shine. Opt for a concealer, waterproof mascara, and a lip stain to really emphasize your fabulous looks!
