A Smoothie Bowl for Valentine's Day
Hey friends, how are ya?! I hope you’re doing really well, and that you feel the love in your relationships with a significant other, friends, or family. And I know there is some sort of obligation to create a beautiful breakfast to surprise your special someone but it doesn’t have to be that elaborate. As long as you tailor the breakfast to show that you care about your significant other. For example, if you don’t have any expertise in the kitchen then make something achievable like a smoothie breakfast bowl! And you can always decorate with toppings to show you love them!
So I got you!
Here’s a simple smoothie recipe that you can whip up, pour into a bowl, and decorate with the toppings he or she will like!
So the recipe makes a little bit more than usual since we’re trying to fill up a smoothie bowl.
What you need:
3 Frozen Bananas
½ Cup Frozen Blueberries
½ Cup Raspberries
¼ to ½ Greek Yogurt (Plain or Strawberry flavored, and the more you add the thicker the smoothie)
½ to 1 Cup Almond Milk
3 Teaspoons Leaner Creamer
So add all to the blender and blend until smooth. It should come out thick.
And now to the fun part, adding the toppings!
Possible toppings
Strawberries
Blueberries
Almonds
Apples
Chocolate Shavings
Bananas
Trail Mix
Now if you’re creative as heck you can cut the fruit into shapes, or letters for extra special details. Now for valentine’s day you can cut the apples into hearts or line the blueberries and strawberries to make hearts.
And remember you don’t have to do anything crazy fancy to show someone you care for them! And heck if there isn’t any special someone remember you’re special as heck to us!!!
