This recipe is for someone who has time to spare in the mornings, as it is slightly more time consuming then ordinary coffee recipes. But, just because it takes more time, doesn’t mean that the time is not worth it. This coffee, while rich, is the perfect way to start your morning off. Cool hints of brown sugar combine with the hearty aromas of hot,steaming coffee to create a pleasant taste in your mouth. Believe us, you won’t be able to live without it after the first cup! This recipe is also made healthier with the addition of our Leaner Creamer mixture, so you can indulge without the added regret.


-One cup of dairy free milk

-One cup of organic brown sugar

-Half of a teaspoon of vanilla extract

-One half of a cup of fresh coffee

-Two tablespoons of Leaner Creamer

-optional addition of ground cinnamon



-Use a saucepan, add one cup of milk and half a teaspoon of vanilla, warm milk on medium heat until it starts to bubble

-Remove milk, stir in 1/2 of a tablespoon of sugar

-Use a blender, whisk milk until frothy (usually 60 seconds)

-Half fill cup with coffee, add leaner creamer

-Add hot milk to almost fill cup

-In a saucepan, combine coffee, sugar, salt, chocolate, and water, stir over low heat until chocolate is melted

-Simmer for four minutes, stir constantly

-Gradually add milk, stir till heated

-When piping hot, remove from heat, beat until mixture is frothy

-Pour into cups, with an optional dollop of whipped cream
