Why We Don't Accept Returns on Food Products

At Leaner Creamer, your safety is non-negotiable and it starts with being completely transparent about why we handle things the way we do.

Once a food product leaves our facility and enters your hands, we have no way to verify what it has been exposed to, how it has been stored, or whether the packaging integrity has been maintained. This isn't a policy we made up. It is grounded in federal food safety law.

FDA Food Code § 3-306.14 states that after a food product has been sold and is in the possession of a consumer, that food must not be offered again for human consumption, regardless of whether it appears unused or unopened. This exists because the FDA has an entire framework dedicated to protecting the food supply from intentional adulteration, which includes the very real risk that a returned product could be tampered with and unknowingly harm another person.

For these reasons, Leaner Creamer does not accept returns of any food products, opened or unopened, under any circumstances.


But We Still Want to Make It Right

Not being able to accept returns does not mean we leave you without options. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, we want to hear from you.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Orders If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong product, or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue. We will replace or resolve it at no cost to you and no return is required.

First-Time Customers If this is your first order with Leaner Creamer and you are not satisfied with the product, reach out to our support team. We review these situations individually and will do our best to find a fair resolution. This courtesy is available once per household and is offered at our sole discretion.

Subscription Orders All subscription orders are final once processed and charged. To avoid an unwanted charge, please update or cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next renewal date. You can manage your subscription anytime through your account portal or by contacting our support team at support@leanercreamer.com.

Sale and Promotional Orders All purchases made during promotional events, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday, are final sale and are not eligible for refunds.

By placing an order with Leaner Creamer, you acknowledge and agree to this no-return policy. If you have a concern with your order, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your financial institution. We genuinely want to resolve it.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California. Leaner Creamer reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase governs your order.
